The Dinner

Chef David has built a five-course menu around Girard wines from Napa Valley and Sonoma County, with each course paired to one wine.

It starts with an aperitivo of grilled jumbo shrimp with Trapani pesto and crispy charred bread, alongside cured Kona kampachi with Fresno chili, cucumber, micro herbs, crispy farro and chili oil. The pour is the Girard Sauvignon Blanc '23.

Next is the Ravioli di Aragosta: fresh lobster and crab meat with ricotta in a tomato cream sauce, with the Girard Chardonnay '22.

Then pan-roasted duck breast with wood-oven roasted root vegetables and blackberry demi-glace, paired with the Girard “Artistry” '22.

The lamb comes next: braised lamb shank with a crispy potato cake, roasted cipollini onion and lamb jus, paired with the Girard Petite Sirah '23.

Dessert is the Crostata alle More, a blackberry and vanilla bean red wine cobbler with vanilla bean gelato, paired with the Girard “Old Vine” Zinfandel '22.
